THE CHALLENGE
Produkt+Markt and its CATI-studio MARKETphone are among the top-20 market research companies in Germany, with some decades of experience and a roster of notable end-clients. The market research itself is rigorous; the studio administration around it had become a tax.
The brief: a customised application that would slot into the existing infrastructure (GESSCati, Microsoft Navision), without disrupting ongoing work, replacing fragile Excel-based point solutions and reducing administrative overhead to a minimum.
THE APPROACH
run-e proposed the MR Orga - its all-in-one solution for project management in telephone studios, designed from the start as object-oriented software that integrates into existing system landscapes rather than displacing them. The Suite was integrated with GESSCati for survey delivery and Microsoft Navision for accounting, replacing the Excel-based admin layer.
The implementation was deliberately undramatic. IT manager Peter Bullmann valued the seamless integration of a proper database system into the existing GESSCati and Navision environment - and the elimination of the maintenance-heavy, Excel-based point solutions.
THE OUTCOME
• Expectations fully met. The introduction of MR Orga met the associated expectations in every respect - Ullrich Grünzel, Studio Director MARKETphone.
• Smooth implementation in flight. The unproblematic and smooth integration into ongoing workflows was particularly convincing.
• Clear process improvements on both sides. Since the changeover, the team has noticed significant process improvements that have considerably eased work on both the administrative and operational sides.
• Less admin, more interviewer support. By reducing general administrative overhead, focus was redirected more strongly towards supporting interviewers. The quality of work improved through easier planning of interviewer capacities.
• Real-time analysis, location-specific and cross-location forecasts. Master-data management, scheduling, time-tracking, reporting and cost analysis run from a single Suite.
• Successful repositioning of studio leadership. Studio leadership freed from organisational overhead, refocused on productivity, training, controlling and quality assurance.
Produkt+Markt's Managing Director Michael Albers also flagged the attractive pricing concept of the MR Orga as a meaningful factor in the decision.
