We are a small software house with two specialties - bespoke software and private AI for SMEs in any industry, and the workforce platform that runs market-research call centres around the world. Same engineering principles since the early days. Same standard. We grew on referrals and we plan to keep it that way.
We started run-e in Dortmund in 2001 with a deliberately narrow brief - write good software for the people who depend on it and put our names on the work. The first project was a workforce platform for a German market-research institute. That platform - now MR Orga - runs across multiple continents today, preparing the payroll for over 25,000 phone interviewers every month.
Twenty-five years later we still operate the same way. No layered sales organisation. No outsourced delivery. The engineer who scopes the work is still in the room when it ships. Our growth has come almost entirely from referrals - first inside the market-research industry, then increasingly through mid-market SMEs working on private-AI deployments and modernisation programmes.
